My zoo is in an interesting country.
We are having an animal parade and once you see the list of animals in the parade, you will know the country that has my zoo. The animal parade goes like this:
In this puzzle, there are some obvious clues as well as some not so obvious clues. The zoo is in a country, not a city, state, region, etc. The animals could all come from the same country but that is clearly not the case. You should not need to search the internet for animal native habitats! There can’t be a word for each animal listed because that’s a lot of words to describe a country. If perhaps each animal represented a letter, the solution would then be a 16 letter word with many of the same letters repeated many times. That is also unlikely.
Each line must be a letter of the name of the country!
The next step is to decode the lines. “ZLLZATLD” are the first letters of each line. Other possible combinations are equally meaningless. Maybe there is something about the animals that is not visible in the puzzle. Look at what the animals have in common and you will eventually see that some have spots and some have stripes.
Stripe
Spot, Stripe
Spot, Spot, Spot
Stripe, Stripe
and so on …
It may become clear, considering that we are deciphering something, that this is Morse code. A quick look at the Morse code translator sheet yields TASMANIA as the location of the zoo and the answer to the puzzle.
Some puzzles will not be so obvious. Others might be simpler. Good Luck.
